college students lining up to vote in Second College. rumours circulated among the freshies that they will be kicked out of college in the second semester if they do not vote accordingly (i.e. for Aspirasi candidates). such veiled 'threats' are also circulated in other colleges.

In 12th college, menus were given out openly to help voters decide.
Serial numbers of the ballots were recorded so it is possible to determine exactly who everyone voted for.
However, when I voted, I noticed that for the list of law students, the column for recording serial numbers was left blank. Were they afraid?
A coursemate of mine, a known pro-opposition supporter, had his serial number recorded. He asked the person writing it down:
"why are you recording my serial number and not others?"
the answer? "I will record theirs later"
yeah, right. How can that be done when they have already put their votes into the ballot box?
